This one’s a pretty short one. I wanted some tripod leg pads for the Gitzo Basalt Reporter tripod I picked up used (and got a great deal on) but I didn’t feel like paying over $40 for a set from B&H. So I made my own.

Awesome show. I’ve seen The Shins before, at a free concert at Carnegie Mellon a couple of years ago, but this show may actually have been better.

As happens way too often, a month has passed and I haven’t blogged.

But I’m still around, and today I spent some time sorting out photos. I’ve posted two new photo sets on Flickr, one for Whidbey Island Race Week and one from a recent cruise I took to Gig Harbor with some friends.
