&lt;p&gt;Usually problems that show themselves when you resume from hibernation are because of something that wasn't set up when your laptop entered hibernation. Google and find somebody else with your laptop who has gotten ACPI to work. Usually its just a matter of removing a particular module or something.&lt;/p&gt;
