I’m done. All that remains for me to do is to pick up my $60,000 diploma.
I loved every second of it. I’ll miss Ann Arbor.

So I’ve been using GMail for about a week now after getting set up with a beta account. I thought I’d spend a few minutes and talk about the things I like and don’t like about the service:

Thats about it for now. Overall, its a great service and I see a lot of potential in it. I’ll post some screenshots and write some more about the general experience soon.

So I got to Pittsburgh this afternoon and spent a few hours walking around and exploring the university area. Very cool actually, cooler than you’d ever expect Pittsburgh to be.

You know how normal universities have stone carvings of scrolls, books, or scales of justice on their campus buildings? Yeah, CMU has one of somebody typing on a keyboard. Not that I find it all that surprising.
Oh, and there were guys out on campus handing out cigarettes for a smoke-a-thon on Earth Day. Its an obscure PCU reference. If you knew what I was talking about you’d find that really funny.

Today we had to say goodbye to a loyal friend.

Today we had to put one of our family’s favorite pets to sleep. As he approached the ripe old age of 16, age had simply taken too much of a toll on him. He had a long, full life of deer and bunny chasing, and we’re all sure he’s much happier now.
I decided I’d blog the occasion to make sure I always remembered him. The most loyal of friends deserve that.
In another effort to avoid studying for a few minutes, I’ve added a new album of pictures I’ve taken around Ann Arbor with my new Nikon D100 digital SLR.
Kick ass camera, kick ass photos.
